Her commitment to inclusiveness is a personal experience. Radhika Shrivastava and her three sisters were brought up in a family that valued ambition, hence they followed their dreams. She learned the struggles of women as she saw her mother juggle being selfish and meeting social expectations. Childhood incidents, such as a memorable meeting with a passport officer, enhanced her determination to provide opportunities to women.
Radhika has a degree in engineering, an MBA from renowned universities, such as Tufts University and IIM Bangalore. She developed her career in the leading consulting and development companies, such as Deloitte Consulting and the International Finance Corporation. Her defining moment came when she took leadership at FIIB, turning it into a women-led institution that champions inclusive leadership.
With her leadership, FIIB has been able to introduce a policy that balances between equity and merit and provides all with a sense of power. Flexible work schedules, mentorship, and powerful DEI policies have increased the number of female representatives to a higher level. Women currently comprise 40% of the board, 82% of the faculty, and 70% of senior staff, much larger than industry benchmarks.
