The event featured a fireside chat with Ms. Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, and Anuradha Das Mathur, Founder and Dean of Vedica.

Ms. Nooyi spoke about balancing work and family. She told young women to focus on what matters, not aim for perfection, and use their skills and strengths while staying true to their goals.

She also highlighted the importance of having mentors, communicating clearly, and earning respect and trust instead of just talking loudly. She spoke on shared responsibility at home, noting that societal and economic progress relies on women having the support to participate fully in professional life.

Anuradha Das Mathur said, “Ms. Nooyi’s wisdom and lived leadership serve as a beacon for our scholars. As Vedica completes ten years, we remain committed to preparing women to lead with competence, courage, and compassion.”
