Background:
Marwari Catalysts (MCats) has started the new edition of its accelerator program, Thrive 9.0, featuring six women-led startups in India’s healthcare sector. With only 15% of startup funding going to women, MCats is supporting change by backing women founders and helping them grow.
The new Thrive 9.0 batch brings forward women founders building solutions rooted in Indian needs while aiming for global reach.
Sushil Sharma, CEO and Founder of Marwari Catalysts Group, said the organisation remains committed to backing women who are solving grassroots challenges. “We don’t just talk about empowerment, we invest in it. These women founders come from real India, address real issues, and are ready to scale.
Their achievements show that innovation knows no gender,” he stated. MCats is also a partner of Women in Innovation Science & Entrepreneurship (WISE), an initiative by the BRICS CCI Women Empowerment Vertical. Ruby Sinha, President of BRICS CCI WE, praised MCats for fostering women-led technology ventures and contributing to a more inclusive global innovation landscape.
MCats’ mission centres on discovering women entrepreneurs from non-metro regions, supporting them with capital, amplifying their networks, and enabling rapid business scale. Partner Divya Multani Jain said that MCats’ strong understanding of India’s diverse regions helps create solutions that work locally and succeed globally.
Ankita Sachdeva, Joint Director at BRICS CCI, said the collaboration will provide funding, global exposure, and international networking opportunities.
MCats has invited co-investors and global partners to join the MCats Club and support high-potential women-led startups.
Headquartered in Jodhpur with offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, MCats is among India’s fastest-growing startup accelerators and venture studios. The organisation manages a SEBI-approved CAT-I AIF and supports over 100 early-stage ventures across 20+ cities. With 35% of its portfolio comprising women-led startups, MCats has generated more than 5,000 jobs and achieved over 11 successful exits.
