Background:
Pinky Promise, a digital clinic for women’s health, has raised $1 million in a funding round led by the Rebalance Angel Community. Other investors include Padma Bhushan awardee and former Tata Consultancy Services CEO Subramanian Ramadorai, Mala Ramadorai, Ajay Nair, and Shreyas Srinivasan. Leaders from companies like SpaceX, Flipkart, and PayTM also joined the round.
The clinic was founded by Divya Kamerkar, a Yale-trained biologist, and Akanksha Vyas, a computer scientist with 15 years of experience in healthcare.
“Many women face barriers in accessing gynecological care due to time constraints and privacy concerns. Our goal is to remove these barriers and provide immediate support,” said Divya Kamerkar, Co-founder of Pinky Promise. “With this funding, we plan to expand our services, introduce physical clinics, and offer a wider range of health-focused supplements, reaching more women across India in the next two years.”
The startup has already supported over 350,000 women, covering more than 320 symptoms and conditions, including menstrual issues, fertility concerns, pregnancy, PCOS, and urinary tract infections.
Aishwarya Malhi and Vikas Kumar, Co-founders of Rebalance Angel Community, emphasized the importance of funding women-focused healthcare. “Access to reproductive and sexual healthcare remains limited. Pinky Promise combines technology and expert care to make a real difference for women,” they said.
Subramanian Ramadorai, Chairperson of Karmayogi Bharat, said, “Women’s health is often overlooked. Pinky Promise focuses on trust, easy access, and quality care to fill important gaps in healthcare.”
With its clear vision, experienced team, and growing number of users, Pinky Promise is set to become a key player in India’s women’s health sector.
