Background:

Women in Insurance India (WIIN) held its second annual event at The Hilton Mumbai International Airport, launching India’s first WIIN Accelerator Program.

The 12-week online program supports mid-career women in insurance with mentorship, leadership training, and development opportunities. The first group will include 30–40 women professionals from across the insurance industry.

Participants will take part in live workshops, case studies, simulations, and self-paced learning, along with six months of mentorship, optional development pathways, and access to a strong peer network.

Speaking about the initiative, Soni Srivastava, Co-founder of WIIN, said, “The insurance sector has always been a story of resilience. Yet, as women reach mid-career, their presence fades. The WIIN Accelerator nurtures their potential and empowers growth, creating lasting industry impact.” Co-founder Eima Azim added, “Through the Accelerator, we equip women with skills, networks, and a strategic mindset to lead with impact and drive measurable growth.”

The event featured over 150 CXOs, policymakers, founders, and industry leaders. The event included WiiN Talks, where women leaders shared their experiences.

The evening ended with the launch of the WIIN Accelerator, honoring WIIN Ignitors, and celebrating volunteers. WIIN is making the insurance industry more inclusive and future-ready.
