Ogilvy has announced the appointment of Kirsty Muddle as the new CEO of Ogilvy Network ANZ. A respected leader in the creative industry, Muddle will oversee Ogilvy’s operations across Australia and New Zealand, managing all capabilities, including advertising, PR, social and influencer marketing, customer engagement, consulting, and health.

Muddle joins Ogilvy from Dentsu, where she served as CEO of Practices & Products for Australia and New Zealand. At Dentsu, she led diverse teams across creative, PR, government, customer experience, Salesforce, insight, data and technology, commerce, and B2B marketing & media. Her strong knowledge of media, data, and technology, along with her passion for creativity, will help Ogilvy grow and make a bigger impact in the region.

With more than 25 years of experience, Muddle has started new businesses, led large organizations, and been recognized for encouraging innovative ideas that help clients grow their brands and connect better with their audiences. She has also been awarded Woman of the Year and Executive of the Year twice. Kirsty Muddle’s leadership goes beyond agencies, as she serves on the boards of the Australian Council of Advertising (ACA), the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), and Ridgeway, an Indigenous social change agency.

Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of Ogilvy Group, said Kirsty has a great ability to use creativity, technology, and data to get results, making her a strong leader for Ogilvy in the region. Rose Herceg, WPP President for Australia and New Zealand, added that Kirsty’s combination of creativity and business experience brings a fresh perspective to help Ogilvy stay ahead in a fast-changing media world.

Muddle will take up her role in early 2026, succeeding Sally Kissane, who stepped down in July after three decades with Ogilvy. Her appointment comes at a time of momentum for Ogilvy, which has recently earned multiple awards and notable client wins, including Tourism New Zealand and Specsavers.
