Allianz, one of the world’s top financial groups, has named Ritu Arora as its Country Head for India. The appointment supports the company’s plan to grow in India’s expanding financial and insurance markets.
Arora has over 20 years of experience in investment and insurance. She earlier worked as CEO and CIO of Allianz Investment Management for Asia-Pacific and as India Advisor to the Allianz SE Board. In her new role, she will lead business growth and partnerships across India.
As CIO for Asia, she managed investment operations in 12 countries with assets worth about USD 50 billion and helped channel major investments into India’s markets.
Earlier in July 2025, Allianz strengthened its India presence through a 50:50 reinsurance joint venture with Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL). The two companies also agreed to explore collaborations in general and life insurance.
