Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2025 will recognize attainment of outstanding women business law lawyers and trailblazers at the vanguard of gender balance in their law firms. The awards are entering their 15th year and still look for outstanding women practitioners, future stars, and gender-diverse law firms in the legal sector. The awards look forward to identifying firms with innovative diversity strategies and women lawyers who are making a mark in their area of practice.
Shortlisting is carried out using stringent peer-review research, pitting the leading women lawyers on the basis of law specialties and jurisdictions. Lawyers and law firms are ranked on the basis of the degree of complexity of work, client satisfaction, and efforts for the development of women professionals in the legal profession. Judges’ rating also involves efforts by the law firms to retain and develop women professionals.
The awards cover more than 30 legal practice fields of law, ranging from mergers and acquisitions and corporate to litigation and intellectual property, with best practices in all practice fields.
