Background-

Bengaluru-based AI product company AlgoShack Technologies, ranked third globally among more than 742 test automation companies by Tracxn, took part as a startup partner in a Women Entrepreneurship Bootcamp held in August 2026 at SSM Cultural Hall, BIET, in Davanagere.

The district-level program brought together 120 selected girl students from five institutions across Davanagere, organised into 10 teams, for a day of hands-on training covering customer discovery, business model design and pitch development.

The Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) and the state’s IT, BT and S&T Department convened the event as part of a wider effort to spread entrepreneurial opportunity beyond major cities into smaller districts.

AlgoShack, the maker of the AI-augmented testing platform algoQA, said its role reflects a growing focus on grassroots technology engagement, extending its work beyond enterprise software quality into skill-building for emerging talent in smaller cities.

Ananya, Women Leader at AlgoShack, said entrepreneurship should not be limited by geography or access to networks, adding that the participating students show ambition and problem-solving ability exist everywhere, and that AlgoShack wanted to support that talent early with real exposure.

The bootcamp included sessions on entrepreneurial mindset, followed by workshops on problem validation and business model development, closing with a peer-pitch challenge and a 60-day action plan for each team.
