Santa Barbara Chapter (NAWBO-SB) National Association of Women Business Owners calls for application for the 11th Annual BRAVO Awards in consideration of honoring remarkable women leaders in the Santa Barbara community. Award ceremony will be held on May 1, 2025, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn, Goleta. “Elevating Women, Elevating Impact” is an inspiration of the priceless contribution of women in all walk of activity in the community.

Santa Barbara Gift Baskets’ Anne Pazier will serve as Mistress of Ceremony, and angel investor and former CEO of HG Insights Elizabeth Cholawky keynote speaker. The BRAVO Awards were established to honor local women leaders who are making economic, political, philanthropic, and social contributions. They are selected by initiative, ingenuity, and by the impact they’ve had on others.

2025 winners are:

Lifetime Achievement Award: Carola Nicholson

Woman Business Owner of the Year: Tina Takaya

Entrepreneur to Watch: Polly Moharram

Philanthropic Champion: Dr. Cynder Sinclair

Public Policy Leader of the Year: Lizzie Rodriguez

Education Advocate of the Year: Janice Brown

Rising Stars of the Year: Amelia Vander May and Sienna Valentine

Kim Clark Leadership Award: Sherry Villanueva

Advance booking is required. The interested parties can log on to the official NAWBO-SB websites to obtain more information and advance bookings. Early bird prices are up to April 14, and for NAWBO members, it will be $95 and for non-members, it will be $110. The ticket price will be increased after this date. Tickets for eight-person tables can be booked in advance for $760.
