Ms. Yasmin Javeri Krishan will become Chairperson of the Board at Nucleus Software (BSE: NUCLEUS) from March 19, 2026. She has been an independent, non-executive director since July 2020 and has helped the company make important decisions and manage its work.
Ms. Krishan is a Chartered Accountant with an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She brings more than 20 years of experience working in several countries.
She has worked in senior roles at Price Waterhouse, American Express, and Citibank across India, the US, Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Also managed education operations in Singapore. Her experience helps the company make smart decisions, money management, and lead teams in different countries.
This appointment is important for corporate governance in India because there are still very few women in leadership. Around 6% of listed companies have a woman serving as Chairperson. Even smaller numbers of women hold independent leadership roles. Ms. Krishan’s appointment shows that Nucleus Software focuses on fair leadership, strong governance, and independent oversight.
