The newest edition Insights Success titled “The Most Dynamic Leader To Watch In 2025” introduces its audience to the dynamic and dedicated language educator- Sharon Pierce Shappley. Being born in Louisiana and raised in the Caribbean, Sharon received tremendous exposure to a wide variety of cultures and languages. This made her more passionate about enhancing her knowledge in linguistics and education.
She completed her B.A. in social science by completing Magna Cum Laude. Eventually, she earned her master’s and Ph.D. degrees in education, while opting for a dissertation on adult second language acquisition.
Sharon’s teaching career began in Puerto Rico in 1974. Since then, she has imparted education across a dozen countries. She has always employed innovative and inclusive teaching methods to ensure that the learners gain knowledge thoroughly and properly.
Insights Success applauds Sharon’s dedication towards taking English education towards newer heights of excellence. A level-based English curriculum developed by her went on to become a comprehensive teaching system which integrated modern methodologies.
A robust online platform developed by Sharon provided students of all ages and proficiencies with a personalized learning experience. She plans to introduce an English-learning software dedicated towards learners of five age groups. Aligned with the European CEFR standards, this software will consist of 10 levels and 50 courses.

She not only trained the teachers but also made sure that the students remained engaged by offering creative and interactive digital educational services.
Sharon saw the challenges her grandmother faced owing to limited education. This motivated her to learn, while educating and uplifting others. Her faith in the transformative power of education motivates her to keep going towards achieving educational excellence.
