Wilasinee Parnurat’s career journey, despite starting with a degree in Material Science and Engineering, reflects her dedication to pursuing her passion for marketing. After obtaining degrees in MIS and MBA, she began her marketing career at Samsung Mobile, which sparked her interest in the field. Her roles at Unilever and L’Oréal further fueled her passion, particularly in brand development and managing large portfolios of renowned beauty brands. Her leadership as CMO at Yves Rocher during the pandemic was pivotal, paving the way for her current role as Country Manager/Managing Director at Bata Thailand.

As the first woman and local to hold this position, she embraces the challenges of leading the company with a vision to break gender biases and steer Bata to greater success. She emphasizes innovation, agility, and a ‘fail fast, learn fast’ mentality, driving growth through bold initiatives. Wilasinee believes in fostering a consumer-centric culture, encouraging her team to continuously learn from failures and stay aligned with market demands. She leads by example, promoting transparency and high standards, while championing diversity to enhance creativity and problem-solving.
