Background

L’Oréal Paris and Sony LIV’s Shark Tank India have come together to launch an early-access window for women entrepreneurs, letting them apply ahead of the show’s general process.

The initiative lets women-led businesses apply for the upcoming season ahead of other contestants. Chosen entrepreneurs will get to pitch their ideas, meet mentors and investors and gain exposure on a national stage.

The collaboration draws from L’Oréal Paris’ long-standing “I’m Worth It” philosophy. It aims to pull more women into India’s startup scene by widening their access to funding, mentorship and business support.

To mark the partnership, L’Oréal Paris and Shark Tank India released a campaign film on Sony LIV. The film captures the self-doubt, societal pressure and hurdles that often hold women back from chasing entrepreneurial goals. It ends with a direct call for women nationwide to come forward with their ideas.

The brand said the programme reflects its push to build pathways that help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses while linking them to networks that can speed up that growth.

The partnership also feeds into Shark Tank India’s larger goal of backing new founders and encouraging entrepreneurship. By carving out a dedicated route for women, the show hopes to see more women-led ventures represented in India’s startup space.

The women entrepreneurs’ category takes applications from July 2 to July 11, 2026. Selected candidates then move through Shark Tank India’s regular process, with a chance to pitch directly to the investor panel.

WPP Media served as strategic media partner for the campaign, crafting platform-specific content to carry L’Oréal Paris’ message of women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship.
